Glenn Creations 3D — Refund & Return Policy

1. Legal Disclaimer

This Refund & Return Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between Glenn Creations 3D ("we," "us," "our") and the purchasing party ("you," "the customer"). By completing a purchase or booking through GlennCreations3D.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth in this policy in its entirety. This policy supersedes any verbal agreements, informal communications, or prior representations made in any channel, including but not limited to social media, email, or messaging platforms.

2. Policy Overview

Glenn Creations 3D offers a 75% refund on eligible orders, subject to the conditions, timeframes, and exclusions outlined below. The remaining 25% is non-refundable and covers materials, labor, overhead, and administrative processing costs incurred at the time of fulfillment. No exceptions to the 75% maximum will be made, regardless of circumstance.

3. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all three service categories offered by Glenn Creations 3D:

  • (A) Custom CAD Design Services

  • (B) 3D Printed Products & Custom Print Jobs

  • (C) Handmade Crochet Items

Each category is subject to its own specific terms in addition to the general terms below.

4. General Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a refund under any service category, all of the following conditions must be met:

  1. The refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date or digital delivery notification.

  2. The request must be submitted in writing via the official contact form at GlennCreations3D.com or by email to the address listed on your order confirmation. Requests made through social media, text message, or other informal channels will not be accepted.

  3. The customer must provide the original order number, proof of purchase, and a clear written explanation of the reason for the refund request.

  4. For physical items, the product must be returned in its original, unmodified condition — unused, unassembled (where applicable), and free of damage caused after delivery.

  5. The customer must not have initiated a chargeback or third-party payment dispute prior to, or concurrent with, submitting a refund request. Filing a chargeback automatically voids eligibility under this policy.

  6. For all claims involving a damaged, defective, or incorrect physical item, the item must be physically returned to Glenn Creations 3D before any refund or exchange will be issued. No refund or exchange will be processed based solely on photographs, descriptions, or customer testimony alone.

5. Category-Specific Terms

5A. Custom CAD Design Services

Custom CAD work is a digital deliverable and represents significant intellectual and creative labor. The following terms apply:

  • Refund Window: 14 days from the date the final file(s) are delivered.

  • Eligible for 75% Refund If:

    • The delivered files contain technical errors that render them non-functional for the stated, agreed-upon purpose, and the customer provides documented evidence of the error.

    • Glenn Creations 3D failed to deliver within the agreed timeline and the customer has not yet received the files.

  • Non-Refundable Situations:

    • The customer changed their mind after files were delivered.

    • The customer approved a design brief, proof, or revision stage and then requests a refund based on dissatisfaction with the approved direction.

    • The files were used, shared, printed, or modified in any way by the customer or a third party after delivery.

    • The design was completed as specified but is incompatible with third-party software or hardware not disclosed at the time of order.

    • Refund is requested after revisions were provided and accepted.

  • Revision Policy: All CAD orders include the number of revisions specified at time of purchase. Requests for refund do not apply if revision allowances were not utilized before the request.

  • Intellectual Property: Upon a refund being issued, all rights to the delivered CAD files revert fully to Glenn Creations 3D. The customer forfeits all rights to use, reproduce, or distribute those files. Continued use of refunded files constitutes copyright infringement.

5B. 3D Printed Products & Custom Print Jobs

3D printed products involve both material and machine costs that are consumed upon print initiation.

  • Refund Window: 14 days from confirmed delivery date.

  • Eligible for 75% Refund If:

    • The product arrived structurally defective (layer separation, significant warping, incomplete print) through no fault of the shipping carrier.

    • The product does not match the confirmed, approved specification (wrong dimensions, wrong color as ordered).

    • The item was damaged in transit — customer must provide photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery and retain all original packaging for carrier claim purposes.

  • Non-Refundable Situations:

    • The customer approved a prototype or test print and then requests a refund on the final production print for the same issue.

    • Minor cosmetic variations inherent to the FDM/3D printing process (slight layer lines, surface texture, minor color variation between screen and physical print) — these are disclosed as expected characteristics of the medium.

    • The customer provided their own CAD/STL file and the print accurately reflects that file, including any errors in the customer's original design.

    • Post-print modifications, sanding, painting, or alterations were made by the customer or a third party.

    • The product was subjected to improper use, excessive heat, UV exposure, or physical stress after delivery.

    • Refund is requested after the customer has already assembled, installed, or integrated the part.

  • Return & Exchange Shipping: All damaged, defective, or incorrect 3D printed items must be returned to Glenn Creations 3D via a trackable shipping method before a refund or exchange is processed. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Glenn Creations 3D is not liable for items lost or damaged in return transit — shipping insurance is strongly recommended. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, Glenn Creations 3D will process either a 75% refund or a replacement at our discretion based on product availability and the nature of the defect. If an exchange is issued, standard production timelines apply.

  • Custom Colors/Materials: Orders specifying non-standard filament colors or material types (e.g., PETG, TPU, specialty blends) carry a non-refundable material surcharge that is excluded from the 75% refund calculation.

5C. Handmade Crochet Items

Handmade items require significant manual labor and are produced to order. The following terms apply:

  • Refund Window: 14 days from confirmed delivery date.

  • Eligible for 75% Refund If:

    • The item has a clear craftsmanship defect — unraveling seams, dropped stitches, or structural failures not caused by customer use.

    • The item was delivered in the wrong size, color, or pattern as confirmed in the original order.

    • The item was significantly mislabeled or misrepresented in the product listing.

  • Non-Refundable Situations:

    • The customer selected a size, color, or pattern and is dissatisfied after receiving what was ordered as specified.

    • Natural variation in handmade items (slight differences in stitch tension, minor color variation between dye lots) — these are inherent to handcrafted goods.

    • The item was washed, worn, or used in any way after delivery.

    • Custom name/monogram items or personalized pieces are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they cannot be resold.

    • Items damaged by improper care (e.g., machine washing a hand-wash-only item, exposure to bleach or harsh chemicals).

  • Hygiene Policy: For health and safety reasons, items that appear to have been worn against skin (scarves, hats, wearables) may only be returned in original, unworn condition with original packaging intact. Glenn Creations 3D reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet this standard.

  • Damaged/Defective Returns: Any crochet item claimed as defective or damaged must be physically returned and inspected before a refund or exchange is authorized. Items that cannot be returned will not be eligible for compensation regardless of photographic evidence provided.

6. Refund Calculation & Processing

  • Refund Amount: 75% of the item subtotal paid, excluding original shipping charges, taxes, and any non-refundable surcharges noted at time of purchase.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only. Glenn Creations 3D does not issue cash, store credit in lieu of refunds, or refunds to alternate payment methods.

  • Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of approval confirmation and receipt of the returned item where applicable. Actual posting time to your account may vary by financial institution and is outside our control.

  • Partial Refunds: In cases where only part of an order is eligible, the refund will be calculated solely on the eligible portion.

7. Non-Refundable Items & Situations (Universal)

Regardless of service category, the following are never eligible for refund:

  • Rush or expedited processing fees

  • Original shipping and handling charges

  • Digital files that have been downloaded, opened, or accessed

  • Orders where fraud or misrepresentation by the customer is suspected

  • Orders refunded under a previous claim from the same customer (no repeat refund requests for the same order)

  • Orders placed using promotional codes, discount bundles, or sale pricing where the discount exceeded 25% — these are final sale

  • Gift cards or store credit

  • Claims on physical items where the item was not returned to Glenn Creations 3D prior to refund or exchange processing

8. Order Cancellations

  • Before Production Begins: Full 75% refund available if cancellation is requested in writing before any materials are consumed or work has commenced.

  • After Production Has Begun: No cancellation refund once materials have been ordered/consumed or work has been initiated. The order will be completed and delivered.

  • Digital Orders (CAD): Cancellations requested after a design brief has been acknowledged are subject to a 50% cancellation fee on the total order value, with the remainder refunded.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the customer agrees to:

  1. First contact Glenn Creations 3D directly through official channels and allow 5 business days for a response before escalating.

  2. Provide all requested evidence (photos, screenshots, order confirmations) in good faith.

  3. Not initiate a credit card chargeback or third-party dispute while a good-faith resolution is in progress.

Glenn Creations 3D reserves the right to contest any chargeback filed in violation of these terms and to pursue recovery of fees incurred as a result.

10. Fraudulent Claims & Abuse

Glenn Creations 3D reserves the right to deny refund requests where evidence suggests abuse of this policy, including but not limited to: repeat refund requests, fabricated damage claims, and theft of services. Customers found to have made fraudulent claims may be permanently banned from future purchases and may be reported to relevant authorities.

11. Policy Changes

Glenn Creations 3D reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. The policy in effect at the time of your order date governs your purchase.
